Alavu collects nothing.

What Alavu reads

To show you what is using your disk space, Alavu reads the names, sizes and folder structure of the locations you choose to scan. It does not read the contents of your files.

This information exists only in memory while the app is running and in the app's own settings on your Mac. It is never transmitted anywhere.

What Alavu collects

Nothing. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier, and no telemetry of any kind.

Network access

Alavu makes no network connections. It works entirely offline and will continue to work with networking disabled.

Third parties

Alavu contains no third-party SDKs, trackers or analytics libraries. No data is shared with anyone, because none is collected.

Purchases

Alavu is free. There are no in-app purchases and no subscriptions, so no payment information is involved at any point.

If you email me

When you write to the support address, I have your email address and whatever you put in the message. I use it to answer you and nothing else, and I don't add it to any mailing list.

Children

Alavu is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, regardless of age.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date below. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
